NACHOS A LA ORTEGA

Ingredients for 4 Servings

1 3/4 cups (1-pound can) ORTEGA® Refried Beans, heated
4 cups (4 ounces) tortilla chips
1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) SARGENTO® Fancy Shredded Mild Cheddar or Fancy Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1/4 cup ORTEGA® Sliced Jalapeņos
ORTEGA® Thick & Chunky Salsa
Sour cream

Procedure:

1. Additional topping suggestions: guacamole, sliced ripe olives, chopped green onions, chopped fresh cilantro
2. SPREAD beans over bottom of large ovenproof platter or 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan.
3. Arrange chips over beans.
4. Top with cheese and jalapeņos.
5. BROIL for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
6. Top with salsa and sour cream.
