BUTTERSCOTCH ICE CREAM PIE

Ingredients for 8 Servings

CRUST
1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup Finely chopped pecans, toasted
1/3 cup Butter, melted
FILLING
1 3/4 cups Heavy whipping cream, divided
2 large Eggs
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 2/3 cups (11-ounce package) NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Butterscotch Flavored Morsels 2/3 cup Chopped pecans, toasted, divided

Procedure:

1. FOR CRUST:
2. COMBINE graham cracker crumbs, nuts and butter in small bowl.
3. Press firmly on bottom and 1 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan.
4. Refrigerate.
5. FOR FILLING:
6. COMBINE 1/2 cup cream, eggs and nutmeg in medium, heavy-duty saucepan.
7. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is slightly thickened.
8. Remove from heat; add morsels.
9. Let stand for 3 minutes; stir until smooth.
10. Cool to room temperature.
11. WHIP remaining cream in small mixer bowl until stiff peaks form; fold into
12. butterscotch mixture.
13. Pour half of mixture into crust; sprinkle with 1/3 cup nuts.
14. Spoon remaining filling over nut layer.
15. Sprinkle with remaining nuts.
16. Freeze for 3 hours or until firm.
