CALIFORNIA PLATTER

Ingredients for 5 Servings

2 tbsp Sugar
1/4 cup Water
1 tbsp Grated orange rind
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
3 Bunches of California Grapes - red, green or black
A selection of seasonal fruit to compliment, e.g.
1 Tangelo or orange, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 Pear, cored and sliced

Procedure:

1. Lunch, brunch or a refreshing dessert. You can't go wrong with a fruit platter!
2. Gently heat the sugar, water, orange rind and cinnamon for 3 -4 minutes.
3. Cool.
4. Cut some of the grapes in half, leave others whole.
5. Place the fruit on a large platter with raised sides.
6. Pour the sauce over and marinate for an hour before serving.
