CHOCOLATE PECAN BARS

Ingredients for 36 Bars

1 1/4 cup Unsifted flour
1 cup Confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup Unsweetened cocoa
1 cup Cold margarine or butter
14 oz Can Eagle®Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk ( NOT evaporated milk )
1 pc Egg
2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups Chopped pecans

Procedure:

1. What could be better than pecans and chocolate featured in these spectacular bars.
2. Preheat oven to 350º( 325° for glass dish ).
3. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa; cut in margarine until crumbly.
4. Press firmly on bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan.
5. Bake 15 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in nuts.
7. Spread evenly over crust.
8. Bake 25 minutes longer or until lightly browned. Cool .
9. Cut into bars.
10. Store covered in refrigerator.
11. Prep Time: 20 minutes.
